Ever wondered what the Bible means when you read that we, the children of Abraham, will inherit the blessing of Abraham? note it is the 'blessing' in a singular form instead of the plural.
Genesis 15:6 tells us that when God showed him his inheritance in the stars, Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness and because he was righteousness in the eyes of God, Abba Daddy blessed him with gold, silver, cattle, servants, the works. So we need to recognize that it is the believing in the goodness of the Lord that brought about the blessing of righteousness for Abraham and for us today, when we put our faith on Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have a good opinion of Him and that will attract all His blessings for us.
Romans 4:23-25 -
v23 The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him (Abraham) alone,
v24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness - for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
v25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Galatians 3:14 - He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
So we see that this blessing of Abraham that the Apostle Paul talked about is none other than the blessing of the promise of the Spirit. And when the Spirit comes upon us, the same Spirit will therefore become a magnet in our lives for the other blessings from Abba Daddy to flow naturally to us - blessings of health, wisdom and prosperity - and we do not need to feel apologetic about them as these are the natural inheritance from Abba Father. Which earthly father does not want to see his own children provided and cared for?
My prayer for you - "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3John2 (NIV)"

A New Believer's Prayer
Thank you Father for loving us so much that You sent Your precious Son Jesus Christ to this world to die for all our sins. I receive Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Thank you that all my sins have been nailed to the Cross on Jesus at His death and because He died in our place, I am now saved forever. I have been made righteous in Your sight because of what Jesus did and I can now enjoy Your blessings over my life. Thank you for the privilege of being called Your Child and for the Gift of Your Holy Spirit in my life. AMEN
