Jesus instructed His disciples during the Last Supper that His Blood was for the forgiveness of our sins (Luke 22:20) - "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you." The life of an animal is found in its blood and once that blood is extracted the animal is expired (Leviticus 17:14) and so when Jesus said that He shed His Blood for our forgiveness, He is telling us that He had purchased our redemption by paying the price - His very life.
Paul, in Philippians 3:9, wrote, "and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith." You see, the moment we put our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord we are immediately placed into the righteousness that is found in Christ and whenever the Father looks at us, He no longer sees us as us but us IN CHRIST. All our ugliness have now been wrapped up in the loveliness of Christ; no wonder we can enter into the Presence of God the Father and not be punished because Christ already paid the price and therefore God being a Just God cannot punish the same sin on Christ and then again on us; that would be a gross miscarriage of the law.
So my friends, remember this - whenever we have this accusing finger pointing at us or when self-condemnation rises on the inside of you, know for a certainty that God the Father is no longer mad at you. He had already forgiven you of your sins at the Cross when Jesus dies there for us two millenniums ago and all we need to do now is to appropriate that righteousness over our lives.
Therefore, as the Beloved of our Lord Jesus Christ, walk tall as we have the righteousness of God in Christ and nothing can ever remove that position from us. The only Person who can do that is not doing it because that would have defeated His purpose in coming to this world in the first instance. So, rest easy and lean hard on Christ and all your problems and challenges will fade away.
My prayer for you - "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3John2 (NIV)"

The Lord has crowned the year (2011) with His goodness and caused us to walk in His paths that drips with His fatness (Psalm 65:11)

A New Believer's Prayer
Thank you Father for loving us so much that You sent Your precious Son Jesus Christ to this world to die for all our sins. I receive Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Thank you that all my sins have been nailed to the Cross on Jesus at His death and because He died in our place, I am now saved forever. I have been made righteous in Your sight because of what Jesus did and I can now enjoy Your blessings over my life. Thank you for the privilege of being called Your Child and for the Gift of Your Holy Spirit in my life. AMEN
